" I started the auditioning with a recording that I was most impatient to hear: a 24bit/192kHz recording. It was B. Britten's 'Simple Symphony Op.4' played by Trondheim Solistene orchestra and recorded in Norway in a church with 'DXD' technology (recorded with 32bit/352.8kHz resolution and then compressed to 24bit/192kHz). As expected, the stage information, the resolution and everything else was outstanding. Listening to it through QBD76 was pure joy. "Then I listened to all sorts of recordings one after the other: 16bit recordings sounded very good but obviously 24bit ones performed better still. "QBD76 Bluetooth connection received full grade from me, we listened to various formats and resolutions without any problem. Of course, all my above statements are only valid for a PC computer with a Vista operating system, I can't comment for the Mac's as I haven't tested them. Do not bother to use a USB cable."
